First Drive In Movie for the Boys

We decided to go visit MeeMaw over the long weekend which happened to also be opening weekend for the famous Moonlite Drive In Theatre in Abingdon Virginia.  The theatre opened way back in 1939, and still stays busy. The USA Today did an article on it back in 1999, you can find the link here.

We decided that we would take the boys to their first drive-in movie at the same place where Angie and I went to our first movie.  We piled everyone the van and truck and took off.
Shrek was really good although it seemed like a new version of "It's A Wonderful Life".  All the boys and Angie made if thru the first movie.  When it came time for the second feature MeeMaw took Zachary home and the rest of us stayd to watch Ironman 2.  Mom and Ben were out first closely followed by Shawn,  Matthew lasted the longest but even he sucombbed to the sandman.
