Tonight was the annual Science Fair at school. this year all 3 of the boy decided to do projects. Let me tell you that working on 3 projects is alot more work than just working on 1.
Matthew wanted to do a project on motors so we put together a couple of simple hompolar motors with just a battery, wire, and magnets. He spent alot of time educating people on Michael Faraday. He did a real good job.
Shawn built a catapult for his project. He built two of them, the first was out of TinkerToys and it did a pretty good job. He built a second one out of a mouse trap. He got the idea from Matthew who built one for his Weblos engineering project.
Ben experimented with buoyancy and theorized what various objects would do when placed in water, he was pretty good at it, the majority of his predictions were correct.
