The Great Bike Adventure

In addition to being the first day of summer it was Matthew's birthday.

Tonia and Emily came up for the weekend so we could celebrate Emily's and Matthew's birthdays. Angie and Tonia went shopping all morning and Angie actually bought something for herself.

After much deliberation Matthew decided that he wanted to go to the Red Robin Inn for dinner so we all headed out for dinner. Everyone enjoyed dinner although my burger was undercooked and the Coke was not adjusted right but the Onion Tower was worth the trip.

After dinner we ventured out to get you a new bike. You would think that getting a bike would be a simple task however every boy in the city must have gotten good report cards because we couldn't find any bike's Matthew's size in town. We went to 3 Wal Marts, 2 Targets, and Angie called every Wal Mart and Target in town. We had one Target say they had a large selection of 24 inch bikes however when we got there there weren't any although the computer said there were 4. One of the walmart's said they to had the bike we wanted so Angie asked them to put it on hold. When we got there the salesperson pulled out the bike, when he looked again at the box it was a 20 inch instead of a 24 inch.

Angie doesn't get mad but boy was she an unhappy camper. She asked to see a manager at the Wal Mart but fortunately for him he didn't show up and we left.

We will try again tomorrow. It's was 12:00 before we got home.
